Reports are that Vice President Harris became outraged when Representative Sheila Jackson Lee out-dumbed her by claiming the moon was a planet made up mostly of gasses.

“I’ve been cultivating this persona since Willie Brown dumped me and I’m not going to give up the throne without a fight,” Harris said.

Aides tried to reassure the V.P. that she still owns the sweet spot. “It’s right there between ignorant like Jackson Lee and a fabulist like Biden,” Kamala’s chief handler said. “That’s your lane, girl!” 

Later the V.P. released a statement asserting her intent to retake her position as the leader in incomprehensible speaking.

“To get back to the top it’s best to begin at the beginning which is where everything begins, and that beginning is now,” Harris said.

At publishing time, there were rumors that Representative Sheila Jackson Lee was developing her own cackling laugh to stay competitive.
