Thanks to the distribution of 22 million free doses of Narcan, drug dealers are breathing a sigh of relief.

“I was losing customers everyday,” local drug dealer Ratman said. “What people don’t understand is that every one of my customers is a repeat customer.”

Operators of “sobering centers,” “addiction treatment programs,” and “houseless transition programs” also praised the impact of Narcan on their businesses.

“I compare it to the tv show Cheers,” Wally Waltman said. “Sam’s bar would have gone under if it wasn’t for regulars like Cliff, Norm and Dr. Frazier. Narcan is saving our regulars.”

A police officer MSN spoke to had a different perspective, but would only comment anonymously for fear she would get canceled, fired, and prosecuted for wrong-think.

“Sure, Narcan has kept the revolving doors for the social workers spinning, but its done the same thing for crime. So, now we arrest the junkies for theft, then get released, overdose, and then we Narcan the hell out of them so they can steal some more.”

Overwhelmingly, those dependent on a steady supply of junkies felt that $100,000,000 spent on flooding society with Narcan was a good investment.

In related news, the manufacturers of Narcan have introduced Narcan 2.0, which is 3% more effective than the original Narcan. Immediately President Biden announced a program to replace all the existing Narcan with Narcan 2.0 at a cost of $200,000,000.

“If it saves one life it’s worth it,” Biden said, then told some bizarre story about being a lifeguard and kids playing with the hair on his legs.
