While a Delaware jury did not buy the argument that Hunter was between his pre-gun purchase addiction and his post-gun purchase addiction, Hunter’s defense team is going to try a variation in his tax evasion trial.

“During the taxation period in question, Mr. Biden was pretty much stoned all the time,” Biden Defense Attorney Gill Tee, said. “I mean the man was lit, high, blazed. Still is. We had to give him a double hit of Narcan just to keep him from nodding off in the press conference.”

Blame the drugs and tax law complexity seems to be the defense strategy.

“I’m sober as a judge and I can’t understand the tax code,” Mr. Tee said. “You think a man who’s filming himself snorting cocaine with prostitutes is thinking straight? Even sober people sometimes fail to list every million they made through influence peddling.”

After the press conference ended, Attorney Tee made an offer.

“Want to buy some of Hunter’s art? That’s what he’s been paying us with. Pieces start at $50,000.”
