Conflict erupted among animal activists when it was discovered that one of their members breeds Corgis, which are big bodied dogs with itty bitty legs.

“How can a dog with legs the length of my thumb run and play like other dogs?” animal rights activist Dorothy Singer said. “What if the chickens had legs that long? Or no legs?”

Singer says her concerns about breeding odd shaped dogs was triggered when a regular protestor, Sampson Heirqut, brought one of her corgis to a protest at a pet store selling puppies.

“The dog was obese and because its legs were ridiculously short, its belly dragged on the ground. How can a dog like that run free? Or run?” Singer asked.

Heirqut, defended her corgi breeding.

“They don’t need long legs to be happy,” Heirqut said. “I’m short and I’m happy. Sure she has trouble going up steps, or stepping over extension cords, but who doesn’t?”

Matters only got worse for Heirqut when the National Wiener Dog Racing Association (NWDRA) came to her support.

Explaining his Dachsund racing, NWDRA CEO, Guido Scaramucci said, “If they don’t want that Oreo, they don’ts gotta run. Know what I mean?”

“I don’t race my corgis,” Heirqut said. “They don’t even have to stand up or walk if they don’t want to, or can’t.”

When the Micro Pigs Breeding Association declared that there’s nothing wrong with Heirqut’s breeding animals into weird shapes, Heirqut stopped showing up at protests.
