Previously, meridian-street news reported that President Biden began intermittently speaking in rhyme, thus triggering rumors that Biden had a stroke. Recently, the stroke rumors got new life when the President answered in song lyrics.
According to noted neuropsychologist Sigmund Noodle, people with memory issues find recalling songs easier than constructing sentences because of “the isochronous rhythm and greater fundamental frequency stability within each syllable…” and some other sciencey sounding stuff that reporters tuned out.
This new neurological symptom first appeared at a press conference when President Biden was asked about the possibility of being challenged at the convention by other candidates. The President replied:
“Are you ready? Hey. Are you ready for this? Another one bites the dust. Another one bites the dust. And another one gone, and another one gone. Just like the primaries.”
Stunned reporters were silent for a minute, then mumbled, “Did he just quote Queen?” Next, a reporter pointed out that Trump was leading in most polls, and asked if the President still thought he could win.
“Of course I can,” Biden said.
“He’s a man, he’s just a man. And I’ve beaten so many men before in very many ways. He’s just one more. And he lied 28 trillion times in the debate.”
“Have you recently watched Jesus Christ Superstar?” Jackson Simms, of the Washington New Times asked? At that the President got angry.
“Hit the road Jack and don’t you come back no more, no more, no more. Hit the road Jack and don’t you come back no more. What you say?”
Quickly, an obsequious reporter asked if the President was concerned about any of the swing states in the upcoming election?
“Georgia. Georgia. The whole day through. Just an old, sweet song, keeps Georgia on my mind.”
While the President’s remarks were puzzling, the press corps left in a good mood because of a Ray Charles ear worm.
