After his poorly received post convention interviews with NBC and ABC, President Biden is going in a different direction.

“Trump lied 28 trillion times in that debate, why don’t they ask me about that?” President Biden complained. “They’ve always liked Trump best.”

Deciding that if you want something done right, you do it yourself, President Biden released a recorded interview where he interviewed himself. Here is a partial transcript.

PRESIDENT BIDEN ASKS: Mr. President, you have done such an amazing job saving the country from the mess your predecessor made, aren’t you exhausted?

PRESIDENT BIDEN ANSWERS: You would think, but everyone who knows me knows that I’m the original Energizer Bunny. Nothing slows me down.

PRESIDENT BIDEN ASKS: Mr President, you don’t get enough credit for your tireless work on securing our southern border, and you’ve made us all safer. In your next term, will you continue to do an excellent job?

PRESIDENT BIDEN ANSWERS: Look, I don’t know how to be anything but excellent and I will continue to be. Biden’s word.

Critics noted that the President’s video was heavily edited, and had 40 jump cuts. At one point what looked like butterscotch pudding appeared on his jacket, then disappeared in the next cut.

When the recorded interview was released, the President assured the public that he had not given himself the questions ahead of time.
