An analysis of election year political ads reveals that 100% of candidates pledge to work with the “other” party and compromise.

“Gridlock has to end and it starts with me,” congressional candidate Courtney Packer said.

When asked what will be her signature issue, Packer focussed on the Supreme Court.

“SCOTUS is out of control,” Packer said. “I plan to introduce legislation to expand the number of justices to 19, to limit the influence of activist judges.”

When asked if she is willing to compromise on expanding the court, Packer was.

“I could accept 17,” Packer said.

“And if Trump is reelected?” a reporter asked.

“Then it’s a terrible idea,” Packer said.

Republican candidate Stacy Sequer who lists “works well with others” on her resume, is hopeful she can find a Democrat willing to support privatizing social security.

“If we can get just one Dem then the bill is bipartisan,”Sequer said, “and we can ram it through.”

Candidates were also asked if they would agree to move the country to the metric system? Half said “Yes, joining the rest of the world is overdue,” and the other half said, “Over my dead body.”

At publication time both parties were claiming that democracy will end if their candidates are not elected.

Meanwhile a spokesperson for ANTIFA said, “We support ending democracy.”
