“If we don’t win our country will be destroyed,” declares both Democrat and Republican campaign workers.
“Trump is literally Hitler,” said Democrat spokesperson Rylie Eft. “There won’t be another election if that man wins.”
When it was pointed out that Trump won in 2016 and there was an election in 2020, and will be this year too, Eft was adamant.
“We thought he could not get more evil but he did.”
Similarly, Republican spokesperson Emma Wright shared her concerns.
“Commie Kamala will destroy our country,” Wright said. “She wants to Californicate America.”
When it was pointed out that similar prognostications of doom for the country followed Biden’s election, Wright began nodding furiously.
“And you see what happened,” Wright said.
“They stole the election in 2016,” Eft said. “Hillary won the popular vote but lost anyway. That’s never happened before.”
When it was pointed out that it happened with George H. Bush in 2000, Eft said, “Exactly, that was the first time ever.”
Then it was pointed out that the winner of the popular vote did not become President in 1824, 1876, and 1888.”
“Really?” Eft said. “Still, if we don’t win our country is lost.”
“This election is critical,” Wright said. “Democracy will end if we don’t win,” Wright said.
At publication time, potential candidates for the 2028 election were forming exploratory committees.
