An Ohio HOA has become suspicious of home owner Ricky Tricker who recently put up his giant Halloween skeleton.
“We have strict time limits on seasonal decorations so people won’t leave them up year-round,” HOA Chair Dick Reul said. “And we think Mr. Tricker may be violating those rules.”
What led to the suspicion was the quick change in Tricker’s decorations.
“Yesterday he had a giant scarecrow to celebrate fall, but overnight he replaced it with his Halloween skeleton.”
Neighbor Betsy Body was also suspicious.
“Before that he had a giant Uncle Sam and for Easter he put up a giant Easter Bunny.”
“What I wonder about is where he stores all those giant decorations?” Reul said. “Our development only has four different house plans and his is the same as mine, but he got the porch pillars and I went with the brick entry accents. I don’t have that much space so how does he?”
Tricker was reticent to speak to this reporter but he did concede that putting up the skeleton and taking it down is a lot of work. As I was leaving, Tricker suggested I come back after Halloween.
“Don’t be surprised if you see a giant Joseph holding the baby Jesus.”
