Americans of all stripes are waiting breathlessly for Vice President Kamala Harris’ new book where she will share insights drawn from her life of public service. Here is a taste of what you will find.
Chapter 1: I Grew Up Middle Class
In this chapter Kamala reveals the little known fact that she grew up in a typically American middle class family, which is difficult when your parents are professors at elite universities and you went to a private school in Canada.
Chapter 2: Parenting Tips
Having been raised middle class, although being childless, Kamala feels prepared to tell parents what they’re doing wrong. Most of the chapter will focus on DEI parenting practices.
Chapter 3: Budget Management. In this chapter, Kamala shares budgeting insights based on what she learned by stretching a billion dollars of campaign money over a three month period and ending up only $20 million in debt.
Chapter 4: Working With the Senile. Here Harris shares practical tips based on personal experience with a co-worker. Tips include, talking as if to a child, wearing a name tag, rewarding good behavior with ice cream, and having the senile person read everything off a teleprompter.
Chapter 5: What I Would Have Done Differently. This is the shortest chapter in the book.
Chapter 6: Selecting Co-Workers. Tips in this chapter include fact checking resumes before you hire and not being afraid to hire Jews.
Chapter 7: Choosing Sugar Daddys. This chapter is full of wisdom for women hoping to advance in their careers regardless of abilities.
Chapter 8: Know Your Audience. Here Harris explains in simple terms the importance of making your deep thoughts understandable to people of lesser ability, so they can understand your thoughts that are deep, and so, in need of understandability.
Chapter 9: Avoiding the Zinfandel Vs. Cabernet Sauvignon Faux Pas. Drawing on years of experience, the former V.P. will explain to the novice the differences between these two dry red wines, so readers will not embarrass themselves by confusing the two.
Chapter 10: California Dreaming. This chapter presents the reader with chance to invest in America’s future by donating to the Harris for CA Governor campaign.
While President Biden wrote a forward for the book, a last minute editorial decision took the forward out. The problem was that while the President mentioned Corn Pop and Uncle Bosie, he never mentioned the Vice President.
