In order to bring jobs back to America, President Trump has been targeting countries with Tariffs. Since implementation, the tariffs have puzzled nearly everyone, since the tariffs vary widely depending on country, and on the product. Tariffs also often change.

While China was hit with a 145% tariff at first, it was later changed to 30%. At the same time, Indonesian products face a 32 percent tariff while Vietnamese companies will pay at a 46 percent rate.

To rectify the seeming disparity, and injustice, and to renew interest in tariffs, President Trump has introduced the “Wheel of Tariffs.”*

Using a game show format, and broadcast on Saturday nights in prime time, Ambassadors from various countries will come on the show, be humiliated by President Trump, and then spin the wheel to see what the tariff will be for their country.

“It’s a beautiful wheel,” President Trump said. “A perfect wheel. I would marry this wheel but Melania wouldn’t like it. When the wheel stops spinning I announce the rate and say ‘you’re tariffed.’ Very fun. People are gonna love it.”

When asked if countries can appeal the tariff rate assigned by the wheel, the President said, “yes.”

“There’s another round, where they bet odd or even and then roll giant dice and go for double or nothing. Lots of fun.”

At publication time there were rumors that President Trump has invited Putin of Russia and Zelenskyy of Ukraine to settle their war by playing a game of Risk.

*Yes, meridian-street.com editors know that tariffs is misspelled on the wheel. We could not get the A.I. image generator to spell it correctly. So, there are still some things humans are better at.
