A recent YouGov poll found that 12% of Americans were offended by the Syndey Sweeney Jeans ad where she declares that she has “great jeans.” However, a subsequent poll found that the same 12% of Americans do not know that “jeans” and “genes” are two different words that just sound alike.

“Wut?” Harvey Winkler said when the ad’s play on words was pointed out.

Winkler’s response was typical of those offended by the ad. The second most common response was, “Huh?”

Winkler was one of the 7% of males who were offended by the Sweeney ad, as was his husband and most of their friends.

After explaining that the Sweeney ad was basically a joke, Winkler said, “Wut?”

At that point the interview was interrupted when the couple’s surrogate birth person arrived to drop off their new baby. The birth person looked very young and our reporter asked if she was a minor?

“Like she could dig coal,” Winkler said.

“So, do you text on a cell phone or a sell phone?” our reporter joked.

“Huh?” Winkler’s husband said.

After departing, our reporter subsequently determined that both Winkler and his husband voted regularly.
