The Snorkles have been married for forty years, but only recently has Mable Snorkle started getting a good night’s sleep.

“It was a miracle,” Mable explained. “Several times a night he’d start buzz-sawing and I’d have to shake him and tell him to turn over. Then when he started having to pee in the middle of the night he would wake himself up, pee, and then go back to bed and not snore for a while. Finally, he peed enough to break up all the snoring.”

Mable’s story of happiness about their husband’s enlarged prostate has been repeated by many other wives of aging men. To understand the joy of wives like Mable, meridian-street.com asked Dr. Sigmund Noodle for a psychological analysis.

“It is clearly a manifestation of an unresolved Electra Complex, which is sexual attraction to her father, exacerbated by rampant penis envy,” Noodle explained.

Noodle had more to say but our reporter started giggling uncontrollably at that point and drowned out Noodle.

When asked if she would encourage her husband to get treatment for his prostate problems, Mable said that she would, “eventually.”
