Former Vice President Kamala Harris triggered momentary confusion, when she attacked U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan for Indicting Letitia James for mortgage fraud. James is the NY Attorney General who ran for office on “getting Trump.”

On her book tour, Harris told an audience that Halligan is “unqualified for her position and got the job only because she is hot and close to Trump.”

At that point reporters and audience members who were reading social media, suddenly thought that the former V.P. was talking about her own career path.

“Wasn’t she sleeping with Willie Brown?” one reporter whispered.

Adding to the confusion was Harris’s assertion that “The charges are baseless, and the president’s only goal is political retribution at any cost,”

“Wasn’t “I’m gonna get Trump,” James’ campaign slogan? that rude reporter* whispered.

When Harris added that, “Trump is weaponizing the Justice Department,” the same rude reporter whispered, “Does she mean like James did in New York?”

At that point a Kamala Harris fan sitting behind the reporter smacked him on the head with a copy of the former V.P.’s book. However, it did not hurt because the book is full of fluff and lightweight just like Harris.
