As President Biden ends his term in office, the planning for his Presidential Library has begun. Meridian-street has obtained the initial plans for the rooms and exhibits. Here are the major attractions.

Virtual Tour of Delaware – This simulated glider ride will take you to all parts of Joe’s home state, Delaware, in five minutes, which is fifteen minutes less than it takes to drive it.

Rehoboth Beach Photo Set – With one of Joe’s real lounge chairs, visitors will be allowed to virtually recline where the President spent most of his presidency. Next to the chair will be Commander, Joe’s favorite dog, fresh from the taxidermist. Pictures will be permitted.

Joe Biden’s Library – Joe donated his personal books for this display. James Joyce’s Ulysses, Joe’s favorite novel will be featured. Look close and you will see his bookmark is 10 pages in, which is further than this author got.

Joe’s Garage – This recreation of Joe’s Rehoboth garage will include the 1967 Corvette that Joe bought new for his 40th birthday. Note: As an additional treat for sharp-eyed visitors, in one corner will be the original cardboard boxes Joe used to store classified documents.

Joe’s Presidential Campaigns – This walk-in maze, with plenty of dead ends, will illustrate Joe’s 40 years of running for President. Look for a display of his 2024 campaign on the bulletin board by the exit.

Joe’s Basement – Planned to be connected to the Presidential Campaign displays, visitors can experience where Joe spent his successful Basement Campaign. The set will include Joe’s favorite napping couch and the President’s hi-fi and favorite LP’s.

Family Room – Family has always been important to Joe, and space is planned for all of his family members/unnamed business partners, and most of his grandchildren.

Art Gallery – This will be an exclusive collection of Hunter Biden paintings that were donated back to the Bidens after the President ended his bid for reelection.

Joe’s Ice Cream Parlor – To be decorated like a 1950’s Rexall Drug Store counter, the parlor will serve Joe’s favorite flavor, Chocolate Chip. For the best value ask for the Big Guy size cone. It costs only 10% more.

There will be several tour options for visitors but it is expected that the most popular will be the COVID-19 tour, where visitors and the guide will wear masks and get free bottles of hand sanitizer, to better capture the feel of the Biden era.

Note: No one will be admitted to Biden’s Presidential Library without proof of the latest COVID-19 vaccination. However, Vaccinations will be available in the onsite Dr. Jill Biden Clinic.
